Sales management is about process. Process, when done correctly, is boring. The 90% of the time that a sales manager spends on process creates the opportunity for him or her to be magical the 10% when sales leadership is necessary.
How to Manage Sales People
Management and leadership in the role of sales are not the same thing. Different goals, different skills and different muscles. For sales management, I believe you are working on the execution of a process. Think of it like manufacturing. There is a design and engineering phase and then there is a production phase. The production phase is about efficiency and quality control. Sales management is what happens in the production phase of sales. To successfully manage sales people during this production phase I recommend the following:
1 Drive to a Step Process
Just like manufacturing, when you go to production phase, you set up a series of linked
processes. In each process there are requirements to be completed in one step before you can go to the next step. Sales management’s role is to ensure that we are following the process and that this execution is efficient and meets quality standards.
2 Only Focus on the Gaps
It is tempting to try to armchair quarterback every deal in a weekly meeting with sales
people. Don’t. The sales management process should be pointing out gaps in either the information that is supposed to be gathered in a particular step of the sales process, the people who are engaged, or how long that step is taking in comparison to your expectations. Focus on just those gaps. If there are no gaps, then the process is working. Focus on only those accounts with gaps.
Compliance and Coaching Are Different
Coaching to solve gaps is a different exercise than ensuring that the machine is working. If you are brainstorming a solution for handling a thorny prospect or a stuck deal, set a separate meeting time. Production discussions are about running the machine, period.
Implementing a Sales Strategy
Implementing a Marketing Strategy Execution Plan, known to Fulcrum and our clients as a “Sprint Plan” is the most effective way to prevent this highway-less journey , Sales consultant . A Marketing Strategy is a set of strategic goal-focused plans for a certain period of time.
Sales Strategy and Planning
Implement your marketing plan
Your marketing plan must do more than just say what you want to happen. It must describe each step required to make sure that it happens.
Schedule The plan should include a schedule of key tasks. This sets out what will be done, and by when. Refer to the schedule as often as possible to avoid losing sight of your objectives under the daily workload. | Team And Resources It should also assess what resources you need. For example, you might need to think about what brochures you need, and whether they need to be available for distribution. You might also need to look at how much time it takes to sell to customers and whether you have enough salespeople. |
Cost The cost of everything in the plan needs to be included in a budget. If your finances are limited, your plan will need to take that into account. Don’t spread your marketing activities too thinly – it is better to concentrate your resources to make the most of your budget. You may also want to link your marketing budget to your sales forecast. | Control As well as setting out the schedule, the plan needs to say how it will be controlled. You need an individual who takes responsibility for pushing things along. A good schedule and budget should make it easy to monitor progress. When things fall behind schedule, or costs overrun, you need to be ready to do something about it and to adapt your plan accordingly. |

Everyone likes to talk about creating a marketing plan. It’s the fun part of marketing, the creative aspect of your planning process and Sales consultant . But strategy without execution won’t help your business succeed. In fact, marketing execution is how you achieve results.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, or IIT-Mumbai was built in Powai in the year 1958. Since then, Powai has become synonymous with this premier engineering college, spurting growth in all sectors, especially including real estate.
The IT hub in Powai is impressive too. When the major conglomerate of Larsen & Toubro set up their manufacturing plant in Powai, development in this region sprang up significantly. Other major companies like Bayern, Deloitte, CRISIL and Nomura have set up their offices here too, contributing to the growth of this region.

The demand for property in Powai has been tremendous. This can be attributed to the well-connected road network, fast-paced urban life, and enviable social infrastructure.
In Powai 2 BHK and 3 BHK apartments in Powai are in demand. People also prefer taking an apartment on rent to buying it because of the steep property prices in Powai. Major Challenges
Powais most notable landmark, the Powai Lake is contaminated. The lake is currently weighed down by excessive silt and vegetation. It is slowly drying up, and this is affecting the aquatic life in there, which is a source of major concern for not just environmentalists, but also anyone living in the locality. Its common knowledge that the lake provides healthy ecological balance to the area.
Sometimes, Powai also experiences water shortage, but traffic is a major recurring problem. The increasing development and rising population are not helping the cause.
Future Prospects for Growth

Once completed, this 24-acre bird park will be a major landmark in Powai, infusing life in the tourism industry and encouraging further commercial development.
Owing to the presence of two premier educational institutions, IIT-B and NITIE, Powai is on track to becoming a hub of talent pool. As a result, numerous young entrepreneurs are turning to Powai for starting up their businesses. This is significantly influencing the realty market in Powai.
