As 2009 ends, Toronto stock market is ready to close out because of the possible hit in the last week of 2009.

December 27—Key Consumer Sentiments data strengthened expectations of U.S. economic recovery leading Toronto stock market in a state of readiness to close out 2009 at or slightly above its highs for the year.Markets were raised by U.S. home resale pursuit last November that resulted better than predicted. Further, other data showed the outcome of first, the smart move of American durable goods orders and second, the unemployment insurance that is said to melt down continuously.
The Toronto market goes up 2.54 per cent last week close to 291 points making Canada’s main stock index up 31 per cent.
“At least for the early part of 2010, I think it takes off the radar screen any concern that there’s going to be hiccup or surprise,” so stated by Andrew Pyle, investment adviser with ScotiaMcLeod in Peterborough.
“It would be really incredible I think to see a negative shock on the economic front in the first few months in the year based on some of the numbers that we’ve seen going into the end of the year.”
Yet still, Pyle considered that there is a probability for shock later in 2010 as governments try to dissuade their economies off immense amounts of stimulus cash and interest rate goes higher.
Also, ensuring the expected U.S. Consumer recovery, investors will be up for evidence as the U.S. Conference Board releases its latest figures on consumer confidence.
“It will take into account everything that has happened this month from obviously the equity market improvement to the improvement market in jobs,” said Pyle.
On the other hand, with only three days left, TSX will still be open for business for a shortened trading week.
Canadian markets reopen Tuesday while close Friday for New Year’s Day.

The group said that merchants in other parts of the US are making significant sales increase in the last stretch before Christmas as buyers do their last-minute shopping.Despite severe snowstorms in the United States’ East Coast on “Super Saturday,’ retailers are now looking into a stronger turnout in the last week before Christmas Day as consumer traffic in online retail stores and shops across the country spiked up.
It will be recalled that snowstorms last weekend had forced closures of major establishments and mall in the East Coast, threatening the retail sales output of the whole country into jeopardy.
Super Saturday is considered as the busiest shopping day of the year.
Based on records, crowds are flocking inside stores all over the US looking for great discount offers from merchants who are eager to win business from the troubled eastern markets.
Also, online retailers based in the East Coast still managed to make significant increase in their sales in the last stretch this holiday season as more consumers resort to the websites to buy the items included in their shopping lists.
“Consumers will still go to stores to make their last-minute shopping. So, all is not lost,” Market Researcher NPD Group chief retail industry analyst Marshal Cohen said.Based on previous data, the last Saturday before Christmas Day usually accounts to more than $15 billion in sales.

Find Office Space

Motorcycle loader
This type of towing equipment is designed for the safe loading of a motorcycle onto the flatbed. Most motorcycle loaders are made with locking mechanisms which provides secure support for the motorcycle being towed. This equipment can cost at least US$300.
Handlebar straps
This is designed to support the motorcycle’s handlebars and keep them secured unto the flatbed and keep them from rotating during transit. Handlebar straps cost at least $8 for every pair sold.
Motorcycle Wheel Chock
As its name suggests, the chock stops the wheels from moving while the bike is being transported. This is ideal and comes in handy when the owner wants the bike transported in an upright position. Each wheel chock generally costs at least US$50 each.
Towing truck
This is the most important equipment of all. Without a towing truck, you won’t be able to tow and transport motorcycles. Prices vary for each truck, and would depend on model and gross weight.

Avail of Business Insurance
Last but not the least is insurance. Claims are quite inevitable, especially if you inadvertently damage – even slightly – your customer’s motorcycles, you can face a lawsuit for compensation. Insurance will make sure you don’t pay for it out of your own pocket. This is good if you want to protect yourself from losses.
