Hit the Ground Running
If youre like many small business owners, the first hour of the day can be a slow ramp up. You check email and shuffle papers while you gear up to the business day. Terry Lonier has a great suggestion to make your days more productive. She ends each day with a review of what she accomplished and then makes a list for the next day. Now, you probably have a long-term To-Do list, but this is different. The daily list may include steps toward checking off those larger long-term tasks, but it can also include the time-sensitive things youll be best off handling as soon as possible. Then start your day with the list.
Lonier has a website called Working Solo for independent entrepreneurs, and so she calls this daily list-making practice her Solo Seven. Even if you arent working alone, this can work for you.
